A note about our nice Patagonian wheather
Success will always depend, in great measure, on the climatic factors and the conditions of the terrain. The weather in this area is very unstable and unpredictable; you must be prepared for “wild” weather conditions and accept that we will do our best to achieve our goals.
For some of our programs, we take one extra day to improve the chances of a successful trip.
Our Mountain Guides will have the final call to modify partially or totally the programs..

STEP BY STEP DETAILS

Leaving El Chalten early in the morning, we will take the Laguna (lagoon) de los Tres trail and, continuing up, we will mount the rocky terrain east of Cerro Madsen. Depending on the time of the year, it is common to find some snow patches above. In the case that there is snow, we will most likely use crampons and some safety techniques with ropes. The view from above is possibly the most imposing and closest view to mount Fitz Roy. The descent is down the same trail.
