A note about our nice Patagonian wheather
Success will always depend, in great measure, on the climatic factors and the conditions of the terrain. The weather in this area is very unstable and unpredictable; you must be prepared for “wild” weather conditions and accept that we will do our best to achieve our goals.
For some of our programs, we take one extra day to improve the chances of a successful trip.
Our Mountain Guides will have the final call to modify partially or totally the programs..

STEP BY STEP DETAILS

We will take the Laguna (lagoon) Torre trail from El Chaltén in the morning. After one hour hiking we will reach the first viewpoint to Cerro Torre and the Fitz Roy river valley. After here we walk another two hours until reaching Laguna Torre (600 meters or 1968 feet a/s/l), one of the principal attractions of the area. From this point, you can have one of the most spectacular views of this mystic mountain: the Cerro Torre. Also, first-row views to Cerro Solo, Techado Negro, Loma de las Pizarras and the nascent of the Fitz Roy river are well worth the walk. After lunch, we return to El Chalten by the same trail, arriving in town by the late afternoon.
